Accessibility
First Bouquet Cottage wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our commitment
We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA: clear headings and page regions, menus that work with a keyboard and show where the focus is, text that scales with your browser settings and pinch zoom, sufficient colour contrast, and descriptive alternative text for images. Accessibility is ongoing work; if something does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.
The accessibility panel
Every page has an accessibility panel in a lower corner. Open it with the round button, or press Alt + Shift + A, to adjust the site to suit you:
- Text: size up to 175%, wider spacing, alignment, a readable font.
- Colour: high-contrast, dark or inverted modes, grayscale or stronger saturation.
- Reading aids: highlight links, headings or the keyboard focus, a large cursor, a reading guide or mask, stop animations, hide images, mute sounds.
- Tools: have the page read aloud, or jump to any heading from the page-structure list.
Open the accessibility panel Keyboard shortcut: Alt + Shift + A
Your choices are saved only in your own browser and are never sent to us. The panel supplements, and does not replace, the accessibility built into the site itself.
Report a barrier
If you encounter a barrier on this website, email us with the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using.
We aim to respond within five business days.
